Getting to De Kuilart
De Kuilart is located in the Southwest Friesian lake district. What used to be a rather remote area is now more accessible but has still retained its traditions and its beautiful quiet rural character. Even so, there is more to do in the area now that it's become such a popular place for tourists in recent decades and since motorways from the Randstad - the western urban conurbation - have made it more accessible. More and more people are also choosing to live here and work in Utrecht or Amsterdam.
