Fishing

In the many waters of Friesland, the fishing is great. With very few exceptions, you can fish everywhere provided that you have the required license that you can obtain at post offices.

Fishing at De Kuilart is good but if you'd like to cast your line elsewhere, there are hundreds of possibilities in the lakes, ponds and waterways nearby. And the IJsselmeer is close, too. If you'd rather fish from a boat, De Kuilart has fishing boats to rent that will take you to the pikeperch areas. But we also know some perfect spots to haul in a net full of bream.
